Jason Mraz: Lucky (with Colbie Caillat)

[Jason]
Do you hear me,
I'm talking to you
Across the water across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying

[Colbie]
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard

[Both]
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

[Both]
They don't know how long it takes
Waiting for a love like this
Every time we say goodbye
I wish we had one more kiss
I'll wait for you I promise you, I will

[Both]
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Lucky we're in love in every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday

[Jason]
And so I'm sailing through the sea
To an island where we'll meet
You'll hear the music fill the air
I'll put a flower in your hair

[Colbie]
Though the breezes through trees
Move so pretty you're all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now

[Both]
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
I'm lucky we're in love in every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday

Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooooh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

Wikipedia: Jason Mraz
Jason Thomas Mraz (born June 23, 1977), also known as Mr. AZ and Mr. Raz, is an American singer-songwriter. Mraz released his debut album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come, which contained the hit single "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)", in 2002, but it was not until the release of his second album, "Mr. A-Z", in 2005, that Mraz achieved major commercial success. The album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and sold over 100,000 copies in the US. In 2008, Mraz released his third studio album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 and was a commercial success worldwide, peaking in the top ten of many international charts.

Personal Notes
I have an amusing story about how I "discovered" this song. I have been rewatching various episodes of the television series Castle and have discovered I don't know how many videos created by fans of the series. Some are clips taken from the episodes, such as the famous kiss from season 3 episode 16 "Setup". Others are a collection of various romantic scenes between the show's protagonists set to music. One such music video introduced me to the duet of Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat (Stanathan; Lucky I'm in love with my bestfriend.) a love song about our romantic couple.
