Potty-Mouthed Princesses Drop F-Bombs for Feminism by FCKH8.com

Facing a future where women are still paid 23% less than men for the same work, and where 1 in 5 women are raped or sexually assaulted in gender-based violence, little girls between 6 and 13 years-old dressed as pretty pink princesses drop F-bombs to draw attention to society’s continued sexism. Asking the question, “What’s more offensive? A little girl saying f*ck or the sexist way society treats girls and women” these adorably articulate little ladies in sparkling tiaras turn the “princess in distress” stereotype on its head and contrast the F-word with words and statistics society should find shocking such as “pay inequality” and “rape.” The video also features a 12 year-old boy wearing a pink gown standing up against sexism saying, “When you tell boys not to ‘act like a girl,’ it’s because you think it’s bad to be a girl.”

FCKH8.com is a for-profit T-shirt company with an activist heart and a passionate social change mission: arming thousands of people with pro-LGBT equality, anti-racism and anti-sexism T-shirts that act as “mini-billboards” for change. Started in 2010 with comedic viral videos that captured millions of views on YouTube, FCKH8.com has shipped almost 200,000 equality tees, tanks and hoodies to supporters in over 100 countries. T-shirts emblazoned with bold messages like “Some Chicks Marry Chicks, Get Over It,” “Straight Against Hate,” and ”Legalize Love” have been publicly talked about by celebrities including Jane Lynch, Adam Lambert, Perez Hilton, and Zac Efron - who’s raved about his own “Some Dudes Marry Dudes, Get Over It” shirt in the press. Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi even have their own pink “Some Chicks Marry Chicks, Get Over It” buttons. With over 305,000 followers on Facebook and 43,000 on Twitter, FCKH8.com has given over $250,000 to the equality cause through directly funded projects and donations to LGBT charities. In 2014 FCKH8.com expanded it's anti-hate message with campaigns and tees focused on fighting sexism and racism and supporting those important causes. In a effort to get tees to supporters even faster, the FCKH8.com brand recently became owned and managed by Synergy Media's team of passionate people with a vision to make an even bigger positive impact with the activist brand. "If I had known you'd be this cute....I would have shaved my legs."

Ebola

The sky is falling. It's the zombie apocalypse. We're all doomed!

Elite Daily - Oct 3/2014
9 Reasons Why You Need To Calm The F*ck Down About Ebola In America by John Haltiwanger
This past week, the Center for Disease Control confirmed the first diagnosis of Ebola within America. The individual’s name is Thomas Eric Duncan, a Liberian national. ... Here are nine reasons why you shouldn’t buy into the hype.

1. America has the infrastructure and technology to contain an outbreak.
2. It’s actually pretty difficult to get infected.
3. Contracting Ebola doesn’t lead to automatic death. You can beat it.
4. **Ebola has a high death rate, but doesn’t kill as many people as other infectious diseases.**
5. Ebola is not airborne.
6. This isn’t the first outbreak of Ebola, it’s containable.
7. Ebola has spread in Africa because of politics and culture, not because it’s impossible to contain.
8. America has bigger health issues to concentrate on.
9. It’s a distraction from all of the good things happening around you.

Are we worried about the right things?
Ebola? Don't make me laugh. We collectively get used to something, then forget about it. Over thirty thousand people a year are killed in traffic accidents in the United States. Over 500,000 people will die from cancer. Ebola? The statistics for other things are staggering and yet, we pay no attention. How moronic.
